GCIA Expands Agreement with Soil Safe

The GCIA and Soil Safe have entered into an agreement to remediate an additional parcel of land for the County Horse Park in Logan Township. (See: www.dreamparknj.com)

The World Class Equestrian Event and Boarding facilities at the Park are already up and running. The County hosts dozens of events every year, and the staff offers educational, beginner and therapeutic riding programs.

The new parcel (Lot 39) borders the existing Park on three sides, and Rt. 130 on one side. GCIA’s LSRP determined that the parcel was contaminated similarly to the rest of the old dredge spoil site and now requires remediation.

NJDOT is currently constructing a new entrance to the Park through this undeveloped parcel in conjunction with the replacement of the 80-year old lift bridge crossing Raccoon Creek at Route 130.

The original GCIA project is more than 90% complete and is scheduled to be finished soon. Work will commence on the additional parcel early next year when the new entrance from Rt 130 is finished.
