Facility description

Our Brandywine, MD facility sits on a 280 acre property owned by Soil Safe in Prince Georges County, MD. Brandywine is the largest capacity treatment facility in the United States and is only 15 miles from the heart of Washington, DC. All site work focuses on modifying the site topography in preparation for future industrial development under lease to end-users.

Product Markets

Most of the materials are being used to build out the development. Some material is shipped out for a variety of uses in local construction projects including road base, sub-base, and structural fill.

Directions

Coming from Baltimore:

Take Route 97 south to Route 301 South. Approximately 1-3/4 miles south of Route 5, turn left on Cedarville Road. Follow to the stop sign( Mattawoman Drive). Turn left and go past the power plant on the right. Mattawoman Drive dead ends at the front gate.

Coming from Washington, DC:

From the DC Beltway take Route 5 south to Route 301 South. Proceed approximately 1-3/4 miles turn left on Cedarville Road. Follow to stop sign (Mattawoman Drive). Turn left and go past the power plant on the right. Mattawoman Drive dead ends at the front gate.

Coming from Virginia:

Take Route 301 North over the Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge into Maryland. Continue north past Waldorf to Cedarville Road. Turn right and follow to stop sign (Mattawoman Drive). Turn left and go past the power plant on the right. Mattawoman Drive dead ends at the front gate.
